One great thing about living in this great Rocky Mountain State is the effort people show when it comes to donating their time and effort. I am involved with a few various organizations and try to help out any chance I get!
Feel better about helping someone and if you have a spare few hours one weekend, call someone up and lift a hand, it will go a long way! Thanks

Weekend Getaway In Aspen..Hard To Beat!
The Off Season in Aspen is Hard To Beat
When the weather starts to warm up and Summer is right around the corner, it's time to head to the Mountains again for some fun. For captivating views and the Lodging prices that get slashed....it's time to head to Aspen again . This time was different, I spent a Fantastic weekend with my Fiance in Aspen and enjoyed every minute of the off season here. We stayed at the The Innsbruck Inn, a sweet place that not only is right in town but also set us up with some local trails to hike with no one around.
Yes I love to fish but this weekend had other intentions and one that still reasonates from all the fun we had, only a few moments fishing but with all the trips I've had this Spring, it wasn't that big of a deal not to fish.
I fished the Frying Pan River for a bit but few hatches suprisingly. (middle pic)Having a little wine on top of Sunnyside Mtn. Closing down the Bar at the Hotel Jerome "J-bar" no better place to be, especially when you have Ditty a fellow Georgia Bulldog serving up some strong liquor drinks all night! (below-Maroon Bells Fall 2002)
Too bad the Maroon Bells road was closed, too much snow apparently. They had 8" of snow right before we got there but fortunately we had nice weather with even 75' one day. If you do want to make the trek to Maroon Bells, it's 7 miles in and 7 miles out...that makes for one long day! Can't wait to get back there again.
If you can schedule it right and save a few pennies, try and make it to the Aspen Food & Wine Festival...talk about a wild weekend that is each year!

2011 IT Employment Outlook
Link To Article
The IT job market for hands-on, highly skilled information technology professionals was picking up at the end of 2010, and IT employment for midlevel managers will do the same by the second quarter of 2011, experts say.
“Most of the IT people who were laid off over the past two years were managers with no current technical skills, including line managers, project managers and business analysts,” says David Marceau, vice president at Ridgefield One, a Connecticut IT staffing agency. “Their responsibilities were then dumped on the techies, who were forced to wear multiple hats, often for the same or even lower pay.”
As the economy improves in 2011, IT hiring will pick up as companies implement projects they put off during the recession and rehire those laid-off project managers, he says.
Companies will also need to hire network engineers, developers and support-desk personnel to help install replacements for slow or obsolete systems, servers and networks, says Tammy Browning, senior vice president at Yoh, a Philadelphia-based staffing firm.

Internet Job Searches, Be Careful..Whether Sales Job Openings in Denver, Recruiters in Seattle or Resumes Posting in Floridai
Internet Makes Job Searches Much More Complicated
By Lenny Keitel
Before the advent of the Internet, the typical job search seemed so straightforward and basic. Craft a resume, peruse the classifieds or seek out a recruiter, apply for the job and wait for the follow-up phone call or letter. Alternatively, the job-seeker might even hand-carry a resume directly to the corporate employment office and perhaps even speak to a real person.
Now, the job search is transitioning from paper resumes to online virtual resumes. Job-search components now include LinkedIn profiles, resume postings on search engines, blogs, articles and even tacky video resumes. Hiring managers have become more technically savvy and discriminating as jobs have become scarce.
Is your name clean?
With the diversity of online resources now available for both the job-seeker and hiring manager, you want to ensure that you're putting your best face forward. Is your online reputation as squeaky clean as you think it is? Bear in mind, any competent hiring manager will perform due diligence by verifying your reputation before picking up a phone to invite you for an interview.
It's a good idea for all job-seekers to make sure that there are no online blunders that just might embarrass them.
1 photo = 1,000 words
In the days before the Internet, background checks for potential candidates were performed by companies via a myriad of channels that included personal reference checks, reviewing public records and soliciting companies specializing in background investigations.
As a job-seeker, take the time to perform a simple check by entering your name on Google to see what surfaces. Additionally, by typing "image" in the Google search box, and subsequently entering your name when the image box appears, any images of you residing on the web will be displayed. A single indiscreet picture of you drinking "shooters'"at a company picnic wearing a T shirt containing profanity speaks a thousand words. Say goodbye to a potentially great position.
Check your online reputation
Today, an online name check can reveal substantial and potentially damaging information about any job applicant. Such information may include speeding tickets, your blogs (political and religious opinions), lawsuits, bankruptcy, custody issues, etc. This information could raise an eyebrow by any hiring manager.
Internet communications are prolific and increasing exponentially. Disparaging comments or images can easily compromise your reputation. Being proactive is important for monitoring and managing your online identity to ensure that your image has not been tarnished. Remember, if you can see it, so can a hiring manager. Don't have the time to periodically check your reputation? Sign up for Trackur.com.
Think before proceeding
Our reliance on the Internet to find a job will continue to escalate as we become more entwined with technology. Personal and professional lives are meshing. Consequently, what is posted online now directly impacts your image - both professional and personal.
